Bishop Carlton Howell Jr.

“I am a dedicated disciple of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, committed to His ministry having received a calling to preach, teach, and bear witness to His death and resurrection, with the purpose of making disciples in His name, fostering spiritual growth, and selflessly serving Him.”

As referenced in Galatians 1:1, “Paul, an apostle—not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead.” This calling emerged after a period marked by personal struggles that led to a sense of spiritual emptiness. However, what was once a source of despair is now being transformed into a powerful means of spreading the word of God. This mission is guided by the Holy Spirit that Christ has sent to us, assuring us that we are never alone on this journey.” – Bishop Howell

From a young age, Bishop Carlton felt a profound and divine calling to spread the Word of God, a calling that he recognized would require invaluable life experiences to fulfill. He firmly believed that each moment, both joyous and challenging, was sculpting him into the man God intended him to become. His spiritual journey has been marked by several significant milestones that have shaped his path. He experienced the transformative moment of baptism in June 1988 by the revered Reverend Ralph David Abernathy at the historic West Hunter Street Baptist Church in Atlanta. In 1996, eager to deepen his faith, he joined the media department at Faith Christian Center, led by the influential Bishop Keith Butler in College Park, Georgia. This experience solidified his commitment to ministry and equipped him with valuable tools for his spiritual growth.

Bishop Carlton’s journey continued to unfold as he received his ordination as a deacon in 2012, bestowed upon him by Apostle Fredrick J. Powell at New Life Ministries and Foundations in Waynesville, Missouri. Two years later, in 2014, a momentous occasion arose when he received an impartation of a prophetic mission and mantle from the late Prophet Brian Parker, a significant experience witnessed by distinguished prophets Victor Awaurh and Charles Howard at AGAPE Love, Faith, Church in Saint Robert, Missouri.

The spiritual accolades heightened in 2015 when Carlton was ordained as an elder by Prophet Charles Howard at AGAPE Love, Faith, Church, marking a pivotal moment in his ministry journey. His fervor and dedication erupted into action when he founded Damascus Ministries, a significant step that was sent forth under the guidance of Prophet Charles Howard in 2016. Recognition of his unwavering commitment culminated in 2018 when Carlton was consecrated as a pastor by Apostle Fredrick J. Powell at New Life Ministries and Foundations, further solidifying his role as a leader within the community. Most recently, in 2024, he reached another milestone, being ordained as an Overseer by Bishop Derrick D. Robinson Sr. at Kingdom Destiny Fellowship International in St. Louis, Missouri.

Throughout every phase of his journey, Bishop Carlton Howell Jr. has exemplified a steadfast faith and an unwavering dedication to serving God and his community. His life is a testament to the principles of love and faith that guide his ministry, inspiring those around him to embrace their own callings with the same passion and commitment.

Lady Ivy Howell

I was saved by Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 5 years old! Filled with the Holy Spirit at the age of 5 also with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I never went to bible school or been to seminary school, just always had a hunger and thirst for the things of God, I was baptized during camp when I was 14. I remember being there and feeling the presence of God that night after I was baptized. While I was in high school I remember hearing the Lord’s call to me to preach the gospel and set the Captives free letting people especially the rejected, the unchurched and the church hurt letting them know that they can be free.

It was during this time I was a part of the Christian Club where we would meet on Monday mornings for study and prayer before school started. While in my early 20’s I volunteered at a storefront church and faithfully sung for their services and was used by the Holy Spirit. During this time of serving, I met many key people in my life who have helped me to know my purpose and understand the deeper levels of God. I attended a revival and felt and bore witness to the move of God that went around the whole world where I receive many impartations of things that I am walking in now in my life! All Honor and Glory goes to my Abba Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit!
